In summer 2019, the Confident Kid Club teachers were busy bettering themselves with continuing education.

Carmella Crowley trained in Fundations, a Wilson reading program for pre-k (kindergarten readiness) and kindergarten-age students that is:

  • for at-risk readers
  • comprises multi-sensory instruction — to engage all parts of the brain
  • presented in an integrated approach

Each lesson addresses:

  • phonemic awareness
  • phonics
  • fluency
  • vocabulary
  • comprehension strategies

All children learn differently — this teaching approach addresses all aspects of a child’s education

Carmella is pleased to offer an additional service incorporating these methods into your child’s curriculum.
